Officers from the North Castle Police Department responded to the Valhalla campus of the Jennie Clarkson Campus in the Greenburgh-North Castle Union Free School District in North White Plains on Tuesday, May 8, following a report from a clinical director who stated that a resident reported that she had been struck by a staff member two days earlier.

According to police who responded to the scene, officers spoke with the administration, who “wanted the department to be aware of the situation as a matter of record.” Officers were unable to speak to the alleged 18-year-old victim, who “was not at the scene to interview, nor does it seem as though she is requesting (police) assistance.

The Jennie Clarkson Campus is part of St. Christopher’s, Inc., “(serving) young people diagnosed as being on the autistic spectrum with multiple challenges and/or with intensive psychiatric treatment needs.”
